Sam Kamra

Toronto real estate agent. My older brother. And the reason I ever walked into a gym.

Who is Sam Kamra?

The short version — and the part search engines want answered first.

Sam Kamra — Toronto real estate agent, RE/MAX Millennium.

Sam Kamra is a Toronto real estate agent with RE/MAX Millennium, helping buyers and sellers across Toronto, Etobicoke, Markham, Scarborough and downtown Toronto. He's spent 20+ years learning this city block by block — and treats every deal like it's his own family on the line.

He's also my older brother. Long before I opened Hammer Fitness, before the pro card, before any of it — Sam Kamra was the one who put a barbell in my hands and told me to stop making excuses.

The brother who got me into fitness

Everybody has a first person who believed in them. Mine sells houses.

I was 15 years old. I wasn't looking for the gym. Sam dragged me there anyway.

He didn't ask if I felt like it. He didn't wait for motivation. Sam Kamra forced me to work out — showed up, put the weight in my hands, and refused to let me quit. That's how it started. No grand plan. Just an older brother who wouldn't take "later" for an answer.

That first push turned into a habit. The habit turned into an obsession. And that obsession became Hammer Fitness — a training gym in Scarborough, a coaching team, pro cards, and thousands of people who've since changed their own bodies. Amer the coach was born at 15, on a gym floor my brother made me stand on.

And Sam didn't just start me — he stayed. He pushed me in the gym every single day. In 2011, he flew with me to Kansas City, Missouri and stood in my corner while I won my pro card and became the youngest WBFF pro at the time. He was there for the first rep and he was there for the one that changed my life.

The next year, at the 2012 WBFF World Championships, he was right there again — in a Hammer Fitness shirt, before Hammer Fitness was anything more than a name we believed in.

Sam's path went a different way. He left fitness behind and built a career in Toronto real estate — but the same relentless, no-excuses drive he used to get me under a barbell is exactly what he brings to his clients now. He's still the guy who makes things happen for the people he cares about.

I built a career out of one thing Sam Kamra taught me for free: discipline is a gift you give the people who come after you. He gave it to me at 15. I've spent my life passing it on.

One push. A whole family built on it.

What Sam started with me never stopped with me.

The discipline Sam Kamra forced on a 15-year-old didn't just build one gym — it spread through our whole family. I turned that fire into Hammer Fitness. Our sister, Rima Kamra, turned it into Lady the F Up — a women's brand built to hand that same no-excuses strength to women who were done playing small.

Rima built LTFU (ladythefup.com) from the ground up into a movement of its own. Different name, different audience — same bloodline, same fire Sam lit in a gym back when none of this existed. That's the part people miss: one brother refusing to let another quit didn't just start a career. It started a family legacy.

He found the room before there was a gym in it

Sam's eye for the right property isn't new — it built Hammer Fitness.

Before Hammer Fitness was Hammer Fitness, it was an empty warehouse. Sam Kamra found it. He walked me through a cold, bare Scarborough space, saw what it could become before I did, and told me this was the one — before we ever signed the lease.

That's the same instinct he brings to every client today: reading a property's potential before anyone else in the room does. Sam didn't just get me into the gym. He literally found the four walls I built my life's work inside.

Why people trust Sam with the biggest decision they'll make

The same traits that made him a great coach to me make him a rare kind of realtor.

He shows up

The guy who dragged me to the gym at 6am is the same guy who answers the phone when a deal gets hard. Consistency isn't a slogan for Sam — it's a personality trait.

He tells you the truth

Sam won't sell you a house to close a deal, the same way he never sold me a comfortable excuse. Straight answers, even when they cost him.

He knows Toronto

20+ years working Toronto, Etobicoke, Markham, Scarborough and downtown — he reads these markets block by block, not off a listings feed.

He plays the long game

Family taught us the same lesson: reputation compounds. Sam builds clients for life, not commissions for today.
